Summary: Percy, Poseidon’s half mortal son, Grover the satyr, and Annabeth, Athena’s half mortal daughter, must go on a quest to find Zesus’s stolen lightning bolt, along the way battling the Furies, and Ares, the god of war.

Personal Reaction: I've read the books, I've seen the movie, and now I've read the graphic novel.  Out of all of them, I prefer the book version the best, but the graphic novel definitely comes in at second.  The illustrations are well done and the story was well adapted.  The book has a lot of action going on from chapter to chapter and that action is a good fit in a graphic novel format.  There are some details in the graphic novel that were changed or left out such as Percy's fight with Luke at the end (doesn't happen in the GN) and Percy's battle with the Furies on the bus is mentioned but not illustrated.
